Ahimsa - Kepong

Argh….Ahimsa, this vegetarian restaurant is located at Kepong near the McDonald’s right opposite the Kepong mosque. Park your car at the mamak store behind the KFC. Beside the mamak store you’ll see a small bridge and you’ll have to cross over to the other side. As soon as you cross the bridge you’ll see the restaurant at your right.

Throwing Mandarin Orange On Chinese Valentine

Malaysian Hokkien Chinese celebrated the 15th day of the Chinese New Year festivities with what is considered their version of the Valentine’s Day. I’m not sure since when this culture has started or the story behind; all I know is mommy said that on the 15th day of Chinese New Year all single lady and man will gather at the river or a pond side. The Ladies will pick one fresh orange and write down their number and then throw it down to the river or pond. The single gentleman will have to try his luck to grab an orange from the pond. This is some kind of traditional old style match making as Chinese always believe is faith.

The traffic was horrible. It took 1 hour to reach a 5 min place.

When I reach the ladies have already throw the mandarin oranges to the lake.

Not much left dude...faster faster

Ciao , On My Birthday

It’s my birthday . Mr B and I love Italian food , so we decided to try out CIAO at Jalan Tun Razak. Heard this is this 1st Italian restaurant in Malaysia therefore it is the oldest Italian restaurant in town. Ciao actually convert the old bungalow into a restaurant and surprisingly they are still well maintain. Very impressive. :) Very romantic place .
